Situated in the Vale of Glamorgan the Fox and Hounds is off the beaten track, but still enjoys the fact that Cardiff is only 25 minutes by car, Cowbridge and Barry 10 minutes and the M4 motorway 15 minutes. Cardiff Airport and the Heritage coast are between 10 and 15 minutes.

We have a pretty ford in the middle of the village.  After heavy rain, however, this is often impassable but you can still get to us by turning around and taking the first right hand turn.  This goes past the village school and at the junction, you bear right past the Church.  We are then on the right hand side.  Please do call us if you get lost!

We visited for Sunday lunch. This must be one of the vale of Glams best kept secrets. Food was superb. Setting really top class. The staff are really friendly and relaxed. Nothing too much trouble. Really enjoyed. Phil

The bar area was lovely with a comfortable log burning snug area. The restaurant food was outstanding: every course was excellent, and though I am not a dessert eater, the home-made ice cream was fabulous.

This is second time we have stayed and once again it did not disappoint. The room was warm, welcoming, clean and tidy, with fresh milk and lots of tea/coffee to choose from.
The breakfast was AMAZING! We cannot wait to stay again

I cannot remember ever staying in pub accommodation which offered so much and provided a quality offering to this degree. Thoroughly recommend this establishment for accommodation and/or dining - I will definitely be returning..... and soon!

A first rate pub and restaurant. We stopped for a quick lunch. The waitress (Nicola) was great - friendly, welcoming and helpful. Well worth a visit.

We Simply Loved It! This old inn is situated in a very small, beautiful village, with a lovely view from the terrace.

Can’t wait to go again!  Called in for dinner late on a Saturday. When our food was nearly ready we were moved to a table in a cosy side room.
